Smile Cookie Campaign totals are even sweeter this year

The Chatham-Kent totals are in for the annual Tim Hortons Smile Cookie campaign.

And they're up again.

This year, local Tim Hortons owners, Guy Pritchard and Mike and Paula Grail donated the local proceeds from every Smile Cookie sale towards the Children’s Treatment Centre Foundation of Chatham-Kent's Butterfly Building Campaign, raising $30,726 for the cause.

That total is up more than $5,000 from last year's campaign and an increase of $10,000 compared to 2016.

The Children's Treatment Centre in Chatham-Kent continues to push for funding from the upper levels of government and recently put out an appeal for support from local residents as part of a letter-writing campaign.
