Maroons fall to Kings 4-2

The Chatham Maroons were defeated by the Komoka Kings 4-2 on Saturday.

Both teams failed to score in the first period.

Komoka's Ian Lutowicz scored the first goal of the game 4:48 into the first period followed by a goal from Jacob Rochford. Alec Webster and Maddux Rychel scored for the Maroons, tying up the game at 2-2.

Komoka received two back-to-back goals from Cameron Welch and Dillion Ward.

Maroons goalie Kevin Linker saved 25 out of 29 shots on net.

The Maroons will play their next home game against the LaSalle Vipers on Sunday. Puck drops at 7 p.m.
