Watch out for wildlife

Chatham-Kent police are reminding drivers to keep an eye out for wildlife on the road -- especially deer at this time of the year during dusk and dawn hours.

Specifically, they're reminding you to: scan the road ahead for any movement, use high beams at night and watch out for the glowing eyes of animals, stop safely in your lane if possible if an animal is crossing your path, and to never swerve suddenly because that could cause you to lose control of your vehicle.
