Maroons fall to Vipers
The LaSalle Vipers were able to defeat the Chatham Maroons 9-1 during their matchup Wednesday night at the Vollmer Recreation Complex.
LaSalle kicked off the game with Stephane Crevier scoring the first goal of the night only 53 seconds into the first period.
The Vipers were leading by four in the second period with 14:03 on the clock before the Maroons got their first and only goal of the evening courtesy of Dallas Anderson.
With the Maroons unable to catch up, the final goal of the night was made by LaSalle’s Colton Krzeminski.
Chatham goalie Tiago Rocha made 31 saves out of 40 shots on net.
The Maroons are back on home the ice this Sunday to take on the Sarnia Legionnaires at 7 p.m.
