Man allegedly assaults grandma

A man is facing an assault charge after allegedly assaulting his grandmother.

According to police, it happened around 9 a.m. on Saturday in Tilbury during a family dispute

Officers transported the 19-year-old to police headquarters and where he was held for bail.

Domestic assault leads to charges

A man is facing four charges after an alleged domestic assault on his girlfriend.

Around 8 p.m. Saturday, police responded to a domestic dispute call at a Chatham residence.

As a result of a physical altercation with his girlfriend, a 23-year-old man was arrested and charged with forcible confinement and three counts of assault.

He was held for bail.

Man arrested for breach of conditions

Calls for an early morning disturbance has led to one man being charged.

Officers got the disturbance call around 2 a.m. Sunday, happening in the area of the Tim Hortons on Third Street in Chatham.

As police arrived, the man fled the area but was located shortly after.

He was arrested for breaching his recognizance condition of not being in the presence of his surety.

The 28-year-old was held for bail.
