Break and Enter at Wolfe Creek BMX

Bicycles and helmets were stolen from Wolfe Creek BMX on Creek Road in Chatham.

Sometime between Wednesday at around 8:30 p.m. and Saturday at around 8:00 a.m. an unknown man forcefully entered the Wolfe Creek BMX's storage container and stole bicycles and helmets.

The bicycles that were stolen have an estimated value of $1000 while the helmets are estimated at $80.

Man Arrested on Warrant

A 56-year-old Walpole Island man was arrested last night on a warrant.

A warrant for his arrest was issued on Tuesday at around 10:30 p.m. after he allegedly grabbed and pushed a woman that he had known. The woman did not have any injuries, but the incident was still reported to the police.

Last night just before 10:00 p.m. the man was found by Walpole Island Police and arrested on the warrant.

He was taken to the Chatham-Kent Police Service Headquarters and was later released with a court date.
