Man arrested on warrant

Police in Windsor were able to catch a man who had a warrant out for his arrest in Chatham.

The 49-year-old man was originally released from police custody in May of this year. He was supposed to attend court in June but didn’t show up and the warrant was issued.

Friday afternoon, Windsor police located the man and arrested him. He was taken back to Chatham and given a future court date. Officers learned that he also had a warrant for his arrest in London. Arrangements have been made for his release to the London Police Department.

Woman arrested for public intoxication

A woman had to spend time with police after having too much to drink.

The 57-year-old Woodlsee woman was found in front of a business in Thamesville late Friday night. According to police, she appeared intoxicated and unable to care for herself.

She was arrested and held at the police station until sober.
