Environment Canada has ended Chatham-Kent's second severe thunderstorm warning for Friday.
Meteorologists were tracking an emerging storm cell capable of producing very strong wind gusts up to 80 kilometres per hour, and up to 50 millimetres of rain.
The warning was issued Friday at 1:32 p.m, then cancelled. At 4:55 p.m. Environment Canada re-issued the warning before cancelling it again shortly after 6 p.m.
An email from Environment Canada stated the storms were very localized and some places could see no rain at all.
