Emergency crews in Chatham-Kent remained busy during the holiday, battling a garage fire in Wallaceburg.
The blaze broke out at approximately 11:38 a.m. on Monday at the intersection of Dufferin Avenue and Ontario Street, the fire department confirmed.
CK Fire and Emergency Services said two crews responded to the incident, including volunteer firefighters. No injuries have been reported.
In a Twitter message to Blackburn News, the fire department described the situation as a "quick knockdown."
According to the fire department, the estimated damage is around $30,000.

Crews put out the fire later in the afternoon, the cause remains undetermined at this time.
The Ontario Fire Marshal will not be called to investigate the fire, said the fire department.
