A new business has opened its doors in Chatham-Kent to provide a variety of employment solutions.
Express Employment Professionals opened on Monday.
The franchise has over 800 locations across North America, and according to owner Usman Qureshi, the company helps people find work as well as providing workplace solutions to businesses.
“It’s day one and we are hitting the road to let businesses know that we are ready to help them with all of their staffing needs,“ said Qureshi. “We have a four-pillar care promise of being approachable, professional, compassionate, and driven and I stand behind this promise because it is the heart of our business.”
Qureshi added that they offer a wide range of employment in a variety of industries including office, industrial and professional.
“Businesses need to know that we can save them time finding and hiring the right staff, reduce costs by offering flexible staffing options that can reduce factors such as overtime, and most importantly help keep operations up and running by ensuring they have staff available to maintain productivity,” said Qureshi.
According to Taylor Hughes, economic development officer with Chatham-Kent Economic Development, the municipality has been working with Express Employment Professionals to bring them to the area.
“Usman and I have been working through a variety of topics including planning for his business, site selection, and making key decisions over the past several months, so today marks a momentous occasion for him,” said Hughes.
Usman said they welcome any kind of job seeker or business to come and use their service.
Express Employment Professionals is located at 403 Queen St. in Chatham.
