Man and Woman Charged with Failing to Comply

A 32-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman, both from Chatham-Kent, are facing charges after communicating with each other.

Saturday night at 9 p.m. police attended a residence on Talbot Trail in Morpeth. The officers found and arrested the pair who both had outstanding warrants for their arrest.

Further investigation revealed that on March 15, 2019 the man and woman had been released from custody with conditions to refrain from speaking to each other. Therefore, they were additionally arrested and charged with failing to comply.

The couple were held for a bail hearing.

Wallaceburg Man arrested on a Warrant

A 33-year-old man was arrested after not abiding with a curfew.

It started on Monday at 3 a.m. after the man was released from custody with conditions. One of his conditions was to remain inside a specific building everyday between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.

On Thursday at 3 a.m., police were notified that the man was not abiding by his curfew. Initially, the officers could not find him and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

On Saturday morning at 10:30 a.m., the man was located in Wallaceburg and arrested on the warrant.

He was later released with a court date.

Blenheim Man arrested on a Warrant

A 26-year-old man was located in Blenheim and arrested on an outstanding warrant.

It happened on Saturday at 11:30 a.m.

He was held for a bail hearing.
