Robbery charge laid after incident at Wallaceburg music store

A 32-year-old man is facing the music after allegedly holding a metal spike to an employee’s neck at a store in Wallaceburg.

Chatham-Kent police said the incident took place at The Gear Box on James Street at around 12 p.m. Thursday adding no injuries were reported and nothing was stolen.

The suspect allegedly fled the store, but officers responded to the scene within minutes and were able to make an arrest.

A 32-year-old man was charged with robbery and held in custody pending a bail hearing.
