Dresden man busted for impaired driving

Sunday morning police in Chatham conducted a routine traffic stop. They suspected the driver of the vehicle to be under the influence of alcohol and transported him to the police station for breath tests.

As a result, a 47-year-old man from Dresden has been charged with driving with a blood alcohol concentration over the legal limit and operating a motor vehicle while impaired. He has been released with a future court date.

Routine traffics stop leads to impaired driving charge

After a traffic stop in Chatham this morning officers suspected the driver they had pulled over to be under the influence of alcohol.

The driver was taken into the police station for breath tests. As a result, a 35-year-old Elliot Lake man is facing a charge of driving with a blood alcohol concentration over the legal limit. He was released pending a future court date.

Man caught after skipping probation meeting

On February 11 a 21-year-old Chatham man failed to appear at his probation and parole meeting.

Saturday morning, an officer on general patrol spotted the man in Chatham.  He was arrested and transported to police headquarters where he was released with a future court date.

Man arrested on outstanding warrant

After a Highgate man failed to attend court on February 11, a warrant was issued for his arrest.

The man was located by police yesterday morning in Highgate. The 36-year-old was arrested taken into police custody pending a bail hearing.
