Safe Internet Day

Chatham-Kent police are teaming up with officers across the country to raise awareness of the dangers of social media.

The push this year is focused on highlighting internet safety for kids.

To do that, police are directing parents to an interactive website called Zoe & Molly Online where eight to 10-year-olds can explore what it means to be safe while playing games online, as well as the risks associated with sharing their personal information and sending pictures online.

Police are also urging anyone interested in more information on how to report online sexual exploitation of children or who wants to learn more about emerging online risks to visit https://www.cybertip.ca/app/en/internet_safety.

It shouldn't be difficult to pick out of a lineup because it's reportedly missing the passenger side mirror and has a dent by the gas tank.

Police said it was taken sometime between 12 a.m. and 7 a.m. Monday and was last seen with Ontario license plates 365 8VC.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Constable Kyle Wright at kylew@chatham-kent.ca or 519-436-6600 ext. 87310.
