Man charged with domestic assault

A 30-year-old Blenheim man is charged with two counts of assault in connection with a domestic violence investigation.

Chatham-Kent police said they arrested the man after getting a call about a domestic disturbance at a residence in Chatham and learned through their investigation that this was not the first alleged incident of violence between the couple.

The accused was arrested, charged, and held in custody pending a bail hearing.
