Maroons set their sights on the Stars in St. Thomas

The Chatham Maroons hit the road for the second time in three nights Friday as they visit the St. Thomas Stars at the Joe Thornton Recreation Complex.

Fresh off of a 4-1 loss to the Vipers in LaSalle on Wednesday, the Maroons will look to ramp up their offence against a Stars team that has been struggling recently -- the team only has only one win in its last 16 games (St. Thomas also has two ties and one overtime loss during that stretch).

The Stars will also be missing veteran forward Adam Keyes who was sent to the London Nationals at the GOJHL trade deadline earlier this month.

The last time the two teams faced off, the Maroons beat the Stars 6-2 (November 25 in Chatham) -- Chatham also owns a 3-0-0-1 record against the Stars through four appearances against St. Thomas so far this season.

You can hear tonight's game on Country 92.9FM/AM 630 CFCO or by clicking here. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
