Four teenagers have started off the new year by getting arrested.

Police said the group allegedly forced their way into a home around 8:15 p.m. Tuesday night. The teens were reportedly trying to retrieve property from another youth member who lived at the residence.

The teens fled the area but were later found, with help from the K9 unit. All four were arrested and released with future court dates.

A 40-year-old woman will have to go to court following a domestic dispute.

Police said an argument sparked between the woman and her 44-year-old common-law husband. It's alleged that the argument turned physical when the woman assaulted her partner.

She has been charged with domestic assault.

A 35-year-old man has been charged after officers found him in possession of meth.

The man was spotted walking through residential properties in the north-end of Chatham Tuesday afternoon.

Following a search, the man was arrested a charged with possession of meth. He has since been released from custody with a future court date.
