Break and enter at Chatham Business 

Late Friday morning police responded to a call of a break and enter at a business on Colborne Street in Chatham.

At 9:30 p.m. the previous night an unknown suspect broke into the business and stole Craftsman power tools valued at $500.

Man found in possession of meth 

Friday night officers were dispatched to locate a 25-year-old Chatham man at 10 Grand Ave. W.

The man was known for failing to comply with his release conditions.

When police located and arrested the man they found him in possession of methamphetamine.

After being taken to the police station, he was released with a future court date.


Garage break and enter 

Friday night around 7:30 p.m. police responded to a break and enter on Orangewood Boulevard in Chatham.

At some point that afternoon an unknown suspect had broken into the residence’s garage. They then broke into the home and stole an iPad.
