Environment Canada has ended a severe thunderstorm watch for Chatham-Kent.
The weather agency issued the alert Sunday at 1:30 pm. According to forecasters, conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms and wind gusts up to 90 kilometres per hour.
Showers and isolated thunderstorms were expected to develop along a cold front and move across Southwestern Ontario late Sunday afternoon into the evening.
The watch was cancelled late Sunday afternoon.
