Man arrested for disturbance

Police responded to Grey Street in Chatham for reports of a disturbance.

A man was found in the middle of the street, swearing and attempting to fight others. He continued to be confrontational when officers located him.

A 35-year-old Chatham man was arrested and has been held in custody until a bail hearing.

Electronics theft

Yesterday evening, unknown suspects forced their way into a Forest Street home and stole about $100 worth of electronics.

Jewelry stolen in break and enter

Sometime Thursday or Friday, an Inshes Avenue residence was broken into. Jewelry and electronics were stolen.
