Weekend break-in in Chatham

Chatham-Kent police are appealing to the public for tips as they work to solve a break-in on McNaughton Avenue in Chatham.

Police said they got the call at around 3 p.m. Tuesday afternoon, adding that sometime over the long weekend, someone broke into the home by smashing the front door window. It's not clear what may have been taken from the residence.

Thieves target bandshell in Chatham

Chatham-Kent police are trying to track down some suspects and about $6,000 in stolen items after criminals targeted the band shell in Chatham's Tecumseh Park.

Investigators said the break-in took place sometime between Monday, October 8 and Tuesday, October 9 at 7 p.m.

Chatham business broken into

Police are investigating after some cash was stolen from a business on Keil Drive South late Monday night or early Tuesday morning.

Officers said the money was taken from a cash register during a break and enter.
