Harassment Charge Laid

A 39-year-old Blenheim woman has been arrested after allegedly harassing another woman who is known to her over the past couple of weeks.

Officers say they got a tip about that last night and arrested a suspect shortly after that.

She was charged with criminal harassment and then released with conditions and a future court date.

Wanted Chatham Man Arrested

Chatham-Kent police say they have arrested a 25-year-old Chatham man who was wanted in connection with a fraud investigation.

Officers say he was arrested last night and charged with possession of property obtained by crime, fraud under $5,000, forgery, and uttering a forged document.

He's being held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Drunk In Public

A 56-year-old man spent the night in a holding cell after Chatham-Kent police picked him up on someone's front lawn in Chatham late Wednesday afternoon.

Officers say the man was allegedly intoxicated when they arrested him at a residence on McNaughton Ave.

Police say he was taken into custody for his own safety and was released Thursday morning after he sobered up.

ATV Stolen From Local Business

Chatham-Kent police say they are trying to find a green 2010 Arctic Cat ATV that was stolen from McGrail Farm Equipment on Prince Albert Rd. sometime over the past couple of days.

Officers say the ATV is valued at approximately $5,500.
