Memorial Park in Tilbury will be the place to be this weekend.
Art in the Park will feature artisans, vendors, live music, food trucks, a kids zone, art demonstrations, and a farmers market on Saturday and Sunday.
"Over 130 vendors this year, we've got two days of live music, we have 11 music acts scheduled over the two days," says organizer James Mason. "A farmer's market, awesome food vendors this year. We've got a great kid zone with face painting, and some live art demonstrations."
Mason says it's their 3rd year, and they just keep growing.
"Every year it gets a little bit bigger, every year we think we've got it, and then every year we're like, lets add this in and let's add that in. It's pretty exciting, it's going to be a great weekend, going to be a fun weekend."
Mason says the town really gets behind the event.
"It's our chance to show off Tilbury, it's our chance to kind of become the cultural centre of the Chatham-Kent universe for the weekend. I think anybody that hasn't been to Tilbury will find it very welcoming, and the people are welcoming."
Art in the Park is free, and runs from 10 am to 5 pm Saturday and Sunday.
