Chatham-Kent police say a man was stabbed with a knife at the Blenheim Tim Hortons Saturday evening.
Police say the victim and another man were both at the business on Talbot St. W in Blenheim at around 5:20pm on Saturday.
According to police, the victim was waiting in line to purchase his order when the man lunged at him and stabbed him with a knife. Police say the victim sustained a superficial cut to his stomach.
The man accused of stabbing him was identified by witnesses and quickly fled the area.
A 21-year-old Blenheim man was arrested and charged with assault with a weapon and being in possession of a dangerous weapon. He will remain in custody until Tuesday for a bail hearing.
