Couple's Quarrel Leads To Charges

A Chatham couple is facing charges after police were called to an apartment complex over a domestic disturbance.

Chatham-Kent police say an argument started Thursday night, in which a 54-year-old woman allegedly shattered a glass by hitting a man in the head. Paramedics were called to treat the injuries of a 63-year-old man, when he allegedly became "confrontational".

The 54-year-old woman has been charged with assault with a weapon, and the 63-year-old man has been charged with being intoxicated in a public place.

Trailer Stolen From Tilbury

Chatham-Kent police are trying to track down a black 2013/2014 Canada Trailer, reported stolen in Tilbury.

Officers say the trailer was taken sometime between July 23 and August 2. The license plate on the trailer is K2434Y.

Thief Runs Off With Hockey Memorabilia

About $500 worth of hockey memorabilia has been reported stolen from a garage in Chatham.

Police say someone broke into a garage on McNaughton Line, sometime between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning. Team photos of the Detroit Red Wings and Toronto Maple Leafs, along with other items were reported stolen.
