Medical Marijuana Facility Accepting New Clients

A higher supply of medical cannabis could mean a higher Chatham-Kent, as a local distributor gears up to accept new clients.

AgMedica announced Thursday that it projects an annual increase in capacity from 6,000 kg of medical-grade cannabis, to 26,500 kg thanks to cultivation at its new Riverview site.

The company will be accepting new clients to register and purchase dried medicinal cannabis products from the new facility, which plans on expanding total annual capacity to 70,000 kg.

In a media release, AgMedica said medical registrations are being accepted immediately from any patients looking for new health options and solutions to their medical needs. It did not confirm how many patients would be accepted though.

According to the company, any interested patients should consult their doctor before applying.
