Man Found With Stolen Cheque, Credit Card

A 37-year-old Chatham man is back in police custody after police say they found a stolen cheque and another man's credit card on him.

Officers say that's an even bigger problem because the man accused of carrying someone else's credit card was previously released with a specific condition that he wasn't supposed to have any credit cards on him at all.

Police arrested the man and charged him with possession of property obtained by crime.

He's also being held in custody pending a bail hearing.
