It just got a little bit easier to cool down this summer in Chatham-Kent.
All afternoon and evening open swims at public pools across the municipality are free for the rest of the summer.
Officials say it's all thanks to community sponsors and partners.
Pools that are offering the free swims include:
Jaycee Pool in Chatham Orville Wright Pool in Chatham Walter Hawkins Pool in Chatham Kinsmen Pool in Dresden Howard Community Pool in Ridgetown Community Pool in Thamesville Centennial Pool in Tilbury Sydenham Pool in Wallaceburg
The Gable Rees Rotary Pool in Blenheim is closed until Sept. 3rd to replace the liner.
Afternoon swims take place every weekday from 1:30pm to 4pm, while evening and weekend swim times vary for each pool. For the full pool schedule, CLICK HERE.
