Back Door Break-In

Chatham-Kent police say they're investigating after someone broke into a residence in Chatham and stole some personal items and electronics.

Officers say it happened sometime between July 9 and July 11. Whoever broke in, caused about $500 damage to the back door of the residence.

Wanted Bothwell Man Turns Himself In

A 20-year-old Bothwell man who's accused of failing to show up for a scheduled court appearance is back in police custody.

CK police say the man turned himself in Wednesday afternoon after a warrant was issued for his arrest when he failed to show up for court to answer to a drug possession charge.

He's being held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Wallaceburg Man Moves Without Telling Police

Chatham-Kent police say a 20-year-old Wallaceburg man is charged with breaking his release conditions after he allegedly moved away from a specific residence without telling police.

Officers say they arrested the man shortly after they went to check up on him at that address in Wallaceburg at 11pm Wednesday.

Police say they arrested him after learning he wasn't at the address he was ordered to stay at and had not lived there for "some time."

He was also taken into custody pending a bail hearing.
