A group of people’s burst of road rage has led police to discover a bunch of stolen property.

Police say on Friday, a driver was threatened by people in another car with a baseball bat.

Through investigation, police discovered that the people were driving a stolen vehicle that was connected to a Chatham residence.

Police arrested two adults and two young people in relation to the stolen vehicle.

While at the residence, police found property that had been stolen in several break and enters and thefts from vehicles.

The investigation is ongoing.

Police are investigating after a car was stolen from a parking lot in Chatham.

A vehicle was reported stolen from the Walmart parking lot in Chatham on Friday at around 1pm.

According to police, an unknown man was seen smashing the window of a 1999 Green Chrysler with an Ontario license plate (AWDJ769).

The man then drove away and was last seen travelling eastbound on Pioneer line.

Chatham-Kent police say an “unruly” teen is facing jail time.

Police were called twice to a Chatham residence for a report of teens acting out of control.

According to police, one teen continued to be disruptive and was arrested for disturbing the peace.

A man has been arrested for being drunk in public.

Police went to an address in Chatham for a disturbance and found a man who was too intoxicated to care for himself.

The man was held at Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters until sober.
