Chatham-Kent police kept a close eye on college students in Ridgetown Saturday night.

Officers set up a RIDE program on Saturday in Ridgetown during a college event.

According to police, one person was arrested for traffic violations and charged for having no insurance. Police say another person was charged for a traffic-related offence and three tickets were issued for open liquor starting as early as 6:30pm.

Chatham-Kent police say a man wanted on an OPP warrant has been arrested.

Officers went to a Chatham residence on Sunday to make sure the man’s residence was in compliance with his release conditions.

Police later discovered that the OPP had a warrant for the man.

The man was arrested and turned over to the OPP.

Chatham-Kent police are looking for information after a radio was stolen from a car in Chatham.

Police say they were notified about items that were stolen in the area of Inshes Ave. in Chatham on Saturday.

Sometime overnight, police say unknown suspect(s) entered an unlocked vehicle and stole a Clarion touchscreen radio valued at $1,000.
