Blenheim's Woodbridge Foam Plant Is Growing

Woodbridge Foam in Blenheim is hiring.

Human Resources Supervisor Shaun Brunner says the plant is looking to hire 20 more people because of a new contract with Jeep. Brunner says there are no special requirements or skills needed.

"This would be an entry level opportunity and no experience is required. Just anybody who is eager to learn what we do and has a good attitude," says Brunner.

Woodbridge Foam currently employs 200 people and makes various products like seat cushioning, seat frame components, and interior soft trim.

Brunner says hiring started two weeks ago but there are positions still available.

"We continue to have open spots. So, anybody who is interested, we would be pleased to talk and offer them the opportunity to join our team," Brunner says.

He says the jobs pay well and have full benefits.

"Starting rate is $14.45/hr and it is a three-year wage scale that we have, scheduled for an increase approximately two times each year and it takes three years to get to the top rate," says Brunner.

The Woodbridge Foam plant is moving to Tilbury and will be operating at the new location by spring or summer of 2019.
