Weapons Charges

Three people from Chatham have been charged with weapons offences.

Police say the charges stem from a disturbance on December 30 involving a handful of people with weapons inside and outside of a home on Edgar St. in Chatham.

Nobody was hurt.

A 47-year-old Chatham woman and a 21-year-old Chatham man turned themselves in to police on Tuesday morning. A 26-year-old Chatham man was charged on January 5.

The woman was under conditions not to associate with one of the men and both were not to be in possession of any type of weapon.

The three suspects are charged with possession of a weapon.
