Man Charged with Possession of Drugs

Drug charges have been laid against a Blenheim man after he allegedly failed to appear for court.

Police say the 22-year-old was charged in November with two counts of failing to comply with his probation order and was required to attend court for fingerprints but didn’t show up.

He was arrested on Monday afternoon and charged with two counts of failing to comply with his probation order and two counts of failing to attend court. Investigators say he was also charged with possession of a controlled substance after a search allegedly found drugs on him.


Break and Enter Investigation

Chatham-Kent police need your help finding a break and enter suspect.

Police say the alarm at Valet Car Wash and Oil Change at 625 St. Clair St. in Chatham went off on Monday morning just before 7am when an unknown suspect smashed the glass door. Money and chocolate bars were stolen.

The suspect was wearing a brown jacket with a black hoodie and a bandana over his or her face.
