The Chatham man was pulled over by an officer Sunday night.

During a search, police say the officer found a knife and drugs. As a result, the suspect was charged with failing to comply, possessing a prohibited weapon, possession of prohibited weapon contrary to order, possession of a schedule I substance (crystal methamphetamine), and possession of a schedule II substance (marijuana).

He was held in custody for a bail hearing.
