Chatham-Kent police are asking for the community’s help to get to the bottom of a break and enter at a Chatham apartment building.

Police say sometime overnight between Friday and Saturday, unknown suspects caused $300 worth of damage to the laundry room of an apartment building at 276 Merritt Ave. in Chatham.

According to police, a video surveillance camera worth $1,000 was also stolen.

Police say a woman has been arrested after acting aggressively at a Chatham hospital.

Police say on Saturday at around 9pm, they received information about a woman acting aggressively in the emergency department of the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus.

According to police, a 38-year-old woman was arrested for disturbing the peace.

The woman was later released from custody without conditions.

Police are investigating after an auto body shop in Chatham was broken into.

Police say sometime overnight on Sunday, unknown suspects broke into Sabeti Auto in Chatham.

According to police, about $1,000 worth of damage was caused to a window.

The investigation is still on-going.
