Remembrance Day Closures

Some municipally-run services will not be available on Saturday and Monday in recognition of Remembrance Day.

All Chatham-Kent Public Library branches will be closed November 11, but locations that are usually open on Mondays will keep to their normal schedule on November 13.

Municipal offices will be closed on Monday, as will the Health and Family Services building. However, all arenas within the municipality will be open during their normal times.

In terms of cultural activities, the Thames Art Gallery and the Chatham-Kent Museum will be open from 1pm to 5pm, and the Capitol Theatre will be open at 8pm for a scheduled event.

Garbage and recycling pick-up for next week will not be affected.

Entegrus and the Public Utilities Commission will be closed on Monday.

CK Transit will run during its normal hours.

The Chatham-Kent Health Alliance (CKHA) has also altered its business hours for Remembrance Day. Routine X-rays, electrocardiograms, and ultrasounds will not be available on Monday for non-emergency patients. Elston Pharmacy located at the hospital's Chatham location will also be closed. The Emergency Departments in Chatham and Wallaceburg will remain open at all times.
