Man Alllegedly Out Past His Curfew

A 57-year-old Chatham man is in trouble with the law after allegedly staying out past his curfew.

Police say the man was released from custody in October after he was arrested on a break and enter charge and ordered to stay inside his residence between 11pm and 6am every day.

Officers say they arrested him again after finding him riding a bike on Adelaide St. in Chatham at around 12:08am Thursday.

He was arrested, charged with failing to comply with his curfew conditions, and taken to police headquarters pending a bail hearing.
