Man Charged With Failing To Comply

A 36-year-old Wallaceburg man has been charged for failing to follow police orders.

The man was told not to attend any place or residence of a woman he knows as he was released from custody in August for allegedly uttering threats against the woman.  However, on Sunday the man was seen walking in front of the woman’s house and police were called.

The man was gone when officers arrived and an arrest warrant was issued.  He was arrested in Sombra Township on Monday around 11pm.

Woman Arrested on Outstanding Warrant

The law finally caught up with a 39-year-old Sarnia woman after she failed to show up for court April 7.

She was arrested by Sarnia police on an arrest warrant early Tuesday morning.

On February 28, the woman was charged by Chatham-Kent police with theft and possession of stolen property.
