Stay Positive With Ice Cream & Inspirational Messages

The Chatham-Kent Health Alliance and its foundation are partnering on Friday for Positivity Day.

They have an ice cream bar for staff, patients and the public at a cost of $5 for each ice cream.

The other event is a positive messaging campaign where people can leave positive messages throughout the hospital for $1 each message to brighten someone's day.

Candice Jeffrey, director of development at the CKHA Foundation, says the money raised will be split between Hurricane Irma victims and the hospital's diagnostic imaging campaign.

There is also a Positivity Day Spectacular event starts at 6pm Friday at the Chatham Capitol Theatre.

It'll feature live entertainment and a $5,000 Grand Prize Presentation.

The doors open at 5pm and admission is free.
