Frontline Of Justice In CK Has Three New Faces

The Chatham-Kent Police Service has three new recruits.

Trevor Biskey, Kyle Wright and Danica Quenneville are all Chatham-Kent natives.

Quenneville says it's the biggest day of her life and adds that it's nice to finally be part of the local policing family.

"In university, I worked at a Tim Hortons on the 401 and the OPP were always coming in and that's what kind of piqued my interest at first because they seemed to love their job," says Quenneville.

A swearing-in ceremony attended by family and friends took place at the Chatham Courthouse Thursday afternoon.

Biskey says policing is in his blood and adds that he's committed to enhancing the community where he grew up.

"I've always looked up to my father who is a police officer and I have lots of family in the business. So, what better way than to follow in their footsteps and serve the community," Biskey says.

Wright is a father of three children and says he's blessed and honoured to serve the community where he calls home.

"Definitely an honour to work for Chatham-Kent. As you know, I was born and raised here and I'm really happy to be serving the community that gave so much to me. It's like returning the favour really," says Wright.
