The boil advisory for areas of Chatham-Kent has now ended.
On Friday, health officials issued a boil advisory for residents in Chatham-Kent who use the municipal water supply, serviced by the “South Drinking Water System.”The advisory applied to the areas of Blenheim, Charing Cross, and Merlin, affecting about 12,000 customers.
The advisory has since been retracted after samples were found to be satisfactory by Medical Officer of Health Dr. David Colby.
