UPDATE: Identity of C-K Man Confirmed

The Special Investigations Unit has identified the person found dead in a Chatham home Wednesday morning.

SIU confirms that the man has been identified as Shawn Davis, district chief of Essex-Windsor EMS.

Chatham-Kent police officers remained at 63 Greenfield Lane in northeast Chatham Thursday.

There are orange paint marks in front of the house but it's unclear what they are. Police remain tight-lipped but one neighbour says a couple moved into the home around April.

Other neighbours say Greenfield Lane is a quiet neighbourhood and there were no previous incidents like this sudden death.

The Special Investigations Unit continues to look into exactly what happened at the house.

Anyone with information is asked to call the lead investigator at the SIU, at 1-800-787-8529.
