A 54-year-old Wallaceburg man has been charged with public intoxication after he hit a snag with the law.
Officers found a man with a piece of clothing caught on a pole near McNaughton Ave. and Wallace St. in Wallaceburg Wednesday night.
He wasn’t able to free himself and was arrested for drunkenness, because he wasn’t able to care for himself at the time he was located.
He was held in custody until he sobered up.
