A vehicle fire in Wallaceburg early Thursday morning has caused $150,000 in damage, after spreading to a ranch house.

Fire officials say the car was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived at the scene on Bruce St. around 4am.

They say the flames broke through the roof of a carport in the home’s driveway, before spreading to the house itself.

A cause is still under investigation.
