Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Charges

Two people are facing drug related charges after a traffic stop by Chatham-Kent OPP.

OPP stopped a black Ford Escape on Hwy. 401 near Victoria Rd. Saturday afternoon.

Officers found and seized around $13,000 worth of methamphetamine.

The female driver from Middlesex has been charged with possessio of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime and driving while disqualified.

The male passenger from London was charged with possession of a controlled substance.
