Chatham-Kent fire crews made quick work of a truck blaze near the Bloomfield Rd. truck stop.
Just after 1:30pm Friday, Chatham-Kent firefighters responded on Bloomfield Rd. just south of Hwy 401.
There they found a tractor trailer on the side of the road, with flames coming out of the back and side of the vehicle. The fire was put out within a half an hour.
The transport truck was driveable, and contained what appeared to be wooden planks. The cause and estimated damages have yet to be released.
