NFL Player Crawford Speaks To Students

Dallas Cowboys defensive tackle Tyrone Crawford is spreading a message of hope to students and young football players in Windsor this week.

He visited his alma mater Catholic Central High School to tell students to never give up on their dreams.

"My struggle was academically. So I am going to tell them my story and how I overcame it. Something that we hold strong in my family is just to never give up," says Crawford.

He says after being in special education classes all his life he never thought he would end up on the Dean's List at Boise State University.

"It's not impossible. It's possible, not only for athletes but for all students to go further with what they want to do, " says Crawford.

Crawford is holding his annual Windsor's Finest Football Academy Youth Football Camp along with Seattle Seahawks player Luke Willson and CFL player Daryl Townsend this weekend.

"We want to give these kids something that we see all the time in the United States. Just a chance to interact with a bunch of CFL players and NFL players," says Crawford.
