Maroons Look To Take Stranglehold On Leamington

The Chatham Maroons look to take a stranglehold on their second round series when they host the Leamington Flyers.

Chatham has a 2-1 series lead and veteran forward Steven Beenackers says they want to feed off the crowd and be the first home team to win a game in the series.

"They're doing a lot for us, we've got to feed off them, and we've got to steal one at home because of course Leamington has home ice advantage," says Beenackers. "But we've got to steal one at home so we want to go in and play just like we did tonight [Tuesday]."

Beenackers adds that they've got to play smart and stay out of the penalty box because Leamington's power play is so strong.

You can listen to the game live on AM 630 CFCO or BlackburnNews.com.

Puck drop at Memorial Arena is set for 7pm.
