Simple Plan is coming to Windsor before they kick off their World Tour for a benefit concert with proceeds going to Transition to Betterness.
The concert is being hosted by Blackburn Radio Inc. in honour of the late Richard Costley-White, the former owner of the company.
"I can't think of anything more exciting then to carry on Richard's tradition of philanthropy and honour his love of the fun side of radio then doing a concert in his honour," says Cathy Zaharchuk with Blackburn Radio Inc.
The concert will be an intimate show with the multi-platinum Canadian band just days before they release their new album ‘Taking One For The Team’.
"They were really enthusiastic about doing something, particularly when they found out that we wanted this to be a charity benefit concert with 100% of the proceeds going to a fantastic local charity," says Zaharchuk.
The concert is on February 17 at 6:30pm at the Olde Walkerville Theatre. Opening for Simple Plan is local band Huttch. Visit mix967.ca to find out ticket information.
